Max-R partnered with the newly constructed US Bank Stadium to outfit their entire facility with waste and recycle bins. In conjunction with US Bank Stadium, Max-R designed several bins customized to the needs of each specific location within the facility and the waste streams required for those areas.

After the initial consultation and in order to make the goals set in place by US Bank Stadium a reality, the Max-R ideation team went to work in conceiving the best solution to the pain points addressed.
Concept
In addition to their current needs and waste streams, Max-R took into account the Stadium’s desire for future compost collection and designed a bin that would easily transition to collect trash, recycling and compost to meet the team’s current and future sustainability goals.

Visualization
The Max-R design team crafted a 3D rendering with all of the desired customization along with the concept of future-proofed bins. Once the configurations, graphics, and colors are approved by the US Bank Stadium team, Max-R’s team of engineers drafted functioning proofs for final sign-off.
The Results
With the inclusion of labels and interchangeable graphics from Recycle Across America, US Bank Stadium became the first sports stadium to have achieved a Zero Waste Super Bowl with 91% of waste diverted from landfills.
