Overview

Max-R first partnered with Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2015 to design bins for the entire venue grounds. Red Rocks wanted to incorporate new compost streams into their existing waste and recycling program, along with including their brand standards in the designs.

After the initial consultation and in order to make the goals set in place by Red Rocks a reality, our ideation team went to work in conceiving the best solution to the pain points addressed.
Concept
In conjunction with the Red Rocks Custodial Supervisor, Max-R’s Engineering and Design team created two different waste and recycling bins, each with compost streams for guests and staff to responsibly dispose of the food waste regularly produced at the venue’s live events.

Visualization
Our design team crafted 3D renderings with all of the desired customizations. Once the configurations, graphics, and colors were approved by Red Rocks, our engineering team drafted a functioning proof for final sign-off.


The Results
They speak for themselves, don’t they? Red Rocks introduced two styles of bins to accommodate the different needs throughout the Amphitheatre, offering a new stream for compost all while showing off Red Rocks’ stylish branding.
