Case Study

Overview
facility Wide Waste & Recycling Bins
Max-R began working with LinkedIn in 2014 to design bins for their corporate headquarters. Since that initial order, Max-R has continued to partner with LinkedIn to outfit their entire facility with customized waste and recycle bins.
Discovery
- Consistent Aesthetics
- Unique Proprietary Bin Graphics
- High Volume to Fulfill Order Across All Locations
After the initial consultation and in order to make the goals set in place by LinkedIn a reality, our ideation team went to work in conceiving the best solution to the pain points addressed.
Concept
To create a consistent recycling program throughout their facility, the LinkedIn bins needed to feature monochromatic black panels and trim and their logo placed on the center panel. In addition to their logo, each bin features graphics unique to LinkedIn to clearly communicate their waste streams and prevent cross contamination.

- Bins with Consistent Graphics and Colors Developed
- High Volume Order Fulfiilled
Visualization
Our design team crafted a 3D rendering with all of the desired customization. It was determined that LinkedIn would need its own graphics to remain consistent across their various office location. Once the configurations, graphics, and colors are approved by LinkedIn, our engineering team drafted functioning proofs for final sign-off.
The Results
They speak for themselves, don’t they? With the inclusion of liquid capture, Bates was able to get closer to their Zero Waste goals.
